Digital education in Germany is not just about staring at screens. It is dynamic, goal-oriented learning with head, heart and mind. Germany’s Ministry of Education therefore needed a logo that represents these values.
A forward-looking logo not only symbolizes the identity of an institution, but also reflects the values it embodies. It is about creating visual signs that reflect the ethical and pedagogical principles of the German Ministry of Education while encouraging a dynamic and sustainable learning culture.
As a graphic designer, I strive to express values and visions succinctly through visual elements. For the “Digital Learning Center” project, I use my expertise to develop a logo that reflects the innovative and ethical direction of the Federal Ministry of Education.
Problem
The existing logo of the digital learning centers did not adequately reflect the innovative approach and progressive educational philosophy represented by the vocational schools in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Solution
By developing a new logo, a visual symbol was created that clearly communicates the modern and future-oriented focus of the digital learning centers and thus effectively underlines the identity and values of the learning environment.
